Android 13 & 14 ARM images for Genymotion SaaS

New Features

• Android 13 & 14 ARM64 (beta) images: Run ARM64 virtual devices directly on Genymotion SaaS.
• Architecture filter: A new filter has been added, enabling users to easily switch between x86, x86_64 and arm64 architectures.

Known issues

• Home button: The toolbar’s home button is not working as expected.
• Camera: The camera works with the native app but may have issues with third-party apps.

Note: ARM images are currently in beta. We are actively working on resolving any issues, and we appreciate your patience. Please report any problems you encounter, and we will address them as soon as possible.

Android 14 stable & Biometrics Widget

• A new Biometrics Widget is now available with our latest updates for both Android 13 and Android 14 (version 3.2.0 images). This widget allows users to emulate biometric authentication methods such as fingerprint.

• Genymotion Desktop 3.7.1 fixes a regression introduced by Genymotion Desktop 3.7.0.

• The bug is related to Virtual Device deployment when installing Genymotion Desktop 3.7.0 for the first time, see the following summary to know if you have been impacted:

| Creating a virtual device worked | This situation is rare but may occur, especially on Linux systems, Install 3.7.1 and re-create your Virtual Device. Remove the folder of your Virtual Device located in the working directory at the time you’ve used Desktop 3.7.0. | | Creating a virtual device failed | Install 3.7.1 and it will work. |

• Note: This bug only affects fresh Genymotion Desktop installs. You should not have any issues if you upgraded from a previous Genymotion Desktop version.
