Problem statement

I get a black display when using a video file in the Media Injection widget (macOS).

Scope

This issue only affects Apple Mac M series computers.

Cause

Compatibility issues with Qt and Rosetta cause the problem.

Using video files via the Media Injection widget is not working at the moment on Mac M series.

Resolution

We are working hard to fix the problem in future releases of Genymotion Desktop.
