Can I download apps from the google play store to test?

Yes — Google Play Store can be used, but it is not preinstalled. You need to install Open GApps first, then open Google Play and sign in with your Google account. Google Play Store is available after flashing Open GApps in Genymotion Desktop, SaaS, or PaaS, and some apps may still fail if they need ARM64 or unsupported features. If an app does not appear or shows “Your device isn’t compatible with this version,” the issue is often architecture or feature support, not the Store itself. On current devices, ARM64 images give the best compatibility, and some apps may require Google Play Services or an unrooted image.
