Does Genymotion Desktop work on macOS Catalina, and should I use QEMU or VirtualBox?

Catalina works with Genymotion Desktop, but on macOS the recommended hypervisor is now QEMU, not VirtualBox. If you are seeing the VirtualBox host-only network error, switching to QEMU is the preferred fix.

On Intel Macs, VirtualBox can still be used if needed, but mac M series does not support VirtualBox. If the issue appeared after a macOS upgrade, reinstalling or updating VirtualBox may help.
