I have a virtual machine with Debian 13, can I install Genymotion there?
Can I install Genymotion Desktop on a Debian 13 virtual machine (VirtualBox)?
❌ NO. Although Genymotion Desktop supports Debian 13 as a distribution, Genymotion Desktop has been designed to run on physical hardware and does not function when installed within a Linux virtual machine (neither on servers nor on cloud instances). In Linux, the default hypervisor is QEMU/KVM (recommended) and VirtualBox is a legacy option, but running Genymotion from within a VM is not supported and will cause errors (e.g. problems with host-only interfaces, vboxdrv modules, DHCP, etc.).

- The VirtualBox DHCP server has not assigned an IP address to the virtual device
If you need a practical alternative: install Genymotion Desktop on the physical host machine (host) with Debian 13 and use the QEMU/KVM hypervisor (recommended), or use Genymotion Cloud (SaaS) to run devices in the cloud.
Can you run Debian 13 on the physical host machine or would you like me to explain how to use Genymotion Cloud?
