What are snapshots in Genymotion, and how do you use them to create custom images?

Snapshots are saved copies of an instance’s state that you can use later as a base for a custom image or to recreate the setup. On GCP, you create them from Compute Engine > Snapshots and then select the snapshot as the boot disk image for a new instance: Template Images.

They are useful when you want to reuse the same apps, tools, and settings on another instance.
