Cloud Virtual Devices

Genymotion Desktop provides access to Genymotion SaaS Cloud instances. In the Devices section, navigate to the CLOUD tab. The CLOUD tab displays the Cloud Instances Dashboard. Click GET STARTED to connect Genymotion Desktop to a Genymotion SaaS Cloud account. If a Genymotion SaaS account does not exist yet, sign up at this point. If a Genymotion SaaS account exists, click LOG IN in the upper-right corner and log in with credentials or SSO. After a successful login, the Genymotion SaaS Virtual Devices dashboard is shown. Genymotion SaaS - Virtual Devices is shown after login.

Create a New Cloud Instance

If there are no running cloud instances, click CREATE in the upper-right corner of the window. This action redirects to the Genymotion SaaS dashboard. Then follow the instructions from the Genymotion SaaS online manual to create and start an instance. After the instance is running, it appears in the Genymotion Desktop Cloud devices dashboard. You may need to click REFRESH to see running Cloud instances.

Access a Cloud Instance Display

Once the instance has started, or if there are already running instances, click the cloud instance display control to open the display in an external Web browser. For detailed information on how to operate Genymotion SaaS instances, refer to the Genymotion SaaS online manual.

Copy the Instance UUID

An instance UUID is generally used to automate operations, or connect a Cloud instance to ADB, with the gmsaas CLI tool. Click the Actions control for the desired running instance to copy its UUID.
