Device link does not work (white and/or frozen screen)

Despite all our efforts, there are two known bugs that have been unable to fix so far when using the device link feature. Fortunately, the bugs can be easily overcome.

The screen on the smartphone or tablet remains white and is frozen

A white screen may appear randomly on a smartphone or tablet when using the Device link feature. The white screen may appear usually at start up.

If the white screen remains, try to unlink the device and link it again from the Device Link feature window. This should fix the problem when it happens.

The display seems frozen on the smartphone or tablet (macOS only)

This bug only affects macOS users. On macOS, the video stream may take more time to load to the smartphone or tablet. The Genymotion Link App may seem frozen on the Welcome screen.

You need to wait a little while and everything should work normally after.

If nothing happens after a couple of minutes, try to unlink the device and link it again.
