Overview

Genymotion Device Image is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) that provides an Android environment. Platform as a Service (PaaS) is a cloud service model that provides managed platforms for running applications. Genymotion Device Image provides an Android environment powered by Genymotion. Genymotion Device Image is available on cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and Azure. Multiple Android versions are supported. Android versions range from 5.1 to the latest stable version. An HTTP API is provided to integrate Genymotion Device Image with testing tools. The HTTP API allows integration with testing tools or frameworks. Customizable devices allow changing properties and hardware specifications. Dynamic Rooting lets you root and un-root the device at will. Share or embed the device into your website using the open-source JavaScript SDK. ARM64 images run apps and games for arm/arm64 without ARM translation tools.

Emulated features

Biometrics emulates fingerprint recognition. GPS simulates real-time activation, accuracy and bearing. Identifiers can be viewed and edited, including Android ID and Device ID/IMEI/MEID. Battery states can be simulated. Phone calls and text messages can be simulated. Camera and microphone input use host devices. Network types and performance can be simulated. Disk I/O speeds can be simulated. Baseband simulates information and control related to network and SIM operators. File uploads support uploading files, flash archives, or sideloading APKs.

Pricing is $0.60 per hour per instance, without cloud platform fees. Genymotion on AWS is available. Genymotion on GCP is available. Genymotion on Alibaba is available. Genymotion on Azure is available.
