How to root a Genymotion virtual device?

Genymotion Desktop

Android 5.5-11 are rooted by default.

No action is required to enable root for Android 5.5-11.

To toggle root for Android 12 and above, refer to Genymotion Desktop user manual.

Genymotion SaaS

All Android images are rooted by default, except Android 13 (arm64 only) and Android 14.

To toggle root for Android 13 (arm64) and 14, refer to Genymotion SaaS user manual.

Genymotion Device Image

Android 9.0 and below images are rooted by default.

For Android 10.0 and above, refer to Genymotion Device Image user manual to toggle root access.
