Android 5.5-11 images are rooted by default. No action is required.

For Android 12 and above, refer to Genymotion Desktop user manual to learn how to toggle root.

Only Android 9.0 and 8.0 are rooted by default. For other images, refer to Genymotion SaaS user manual for instructions to toggle root access.

Android 9.0 and below images are rooted by default.
