How to use OBS Virtual Camera with Genymotion

Configure OBS Studio Video output format

Genymotion camera API is currently limited to a resolution of 720p. Configure OBS Studio to output a video signal at a resolution of 720p in order to work correctly with Genymotion.

1. Open OBS Studio. Go to Files > Settings. Navigate to the Video section. 2. Click on the drop-down list "Output (Scaled) Resolution" and select "1280x720". 3. Click Apply and OK. 4. Set up and start OBS Virtual Camera.

Genymotion Desktop

Experimental support for OBS Virtual Camera has been introduced with Genymotion Desktop 3.10.0. Make sure to upgrade your copy of Genymotion Desktop if necessary.

In Genymotion Desktop, start your virtual device and follow these steps:

1. Open the . You should see "OBS Virtual Camera" in the Sources / Cameras list. 2. In Inputs mapping / Video, select "OBS Virtual Camera" in the drop-down list as Back or Front camera source:
