For technical and resources reasons, Genymotion cannot test nor guarantee Genymotion Desktop operations on each and every existing Linux distribution.
If a user does not use one of the recommended distributions, it is very likely that the following will occur:
- The user will be missing some important libraries.
- The distribution kernel does not have the appropriate modules for the display.
- Genymotion Desktop will not work as intended.
- Genymotion Desktop may not start.
For this reason, Genymotion can provide technical assistance only if the user uses one of the following Linux distributions:
- Ubuntu LTS
- Debian Stable
- Fedora Workstation
