Genymotion Cloud starts with two main options: Genymotion SaaS and Genymotion Device Image / PaaS.

If the goal is to get started quickly, the most direct entry points are Genymotion in the Cloud and Genymotion Device Image.

The start process is simple:

1. Choose the intended use

  • Automated testing, CI/CD, team collaboration, demos: choose Genymotion SaaS
  • Run device images on AWS / GCP / Azure / Alibaba Cloud: choose Genymotion Device Image / PaaS

2. To try the cloud offering first

  • Go to Genymotion in the Cloud
  • Click the trial entry on the page
  • Follow the prompts to create an account, team, and device

3. To deploy on a cloud platform

  • Go to Genymotion Device Image
  • Choose the cloud platform
  • Deploy an instance using the process in the cloud marketplace or documentation
  • Connect through the HTTP API or a testing tool

Genymotion Desktop cannot run on cloud machines, so Genymotion Desktop does not need to be upgraded first. The cloud products are a separate solution.
