What are Genymotion Desktop requirements?
Genymotion Desktop needs a 64-bit supported OS, virtualization enabled, OpenGL 3.3+ graphics, 16 GB RAM, 1920×1080 display, and enough disk space. It is not available for 32-bit systems, Raspberry Pi, or virtual environments like VMs, Docker, or VPS.
Requirements
- CPU: 64-bit Intel 6th gen or AMD Ryzen on PC, or 64-bit Intel / Apple silicon on Mac
- Virtualization: Intel VT-x or AMD-V/SMV enabled in BIOS/UEFI
- Graphics: OpenGL 3.3 or higher
- RAM: 16 GB or more
- Display: 1920×1080 or higher
- Disk space: 300 MB for Genymotion plus 2 GB per virtual device
Supported systems
- Windows: Windows 11 Home, Pro, or Enterprise
- macOS: macOS 15 Sequoia and macOS 26 Tahoe
- Linux: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, Debian Stable 13, Fedora Workstation 43
Important notes
- Windows 10 is no longer officially supported
- Rosetta is required on Mac M series
- Windows ARM64 is coming soon
- VirtualBox is the recommended hypervisor on Windows
