Why can't I use the camera on Genymotion?

I cannot use my camera then ?

āŒ NO. You can use a camera in Genymotion Desktop, but virtual cameras are limited and OBS Virtual Camera is not supported on Windows. You can use your host webcam if it is UVC-compatible, or inject media through the Media Injection widget. See Camera and Media Injection and My webcam does not work with Genymotion Desktop.

In Genymotion Desktop:

  • Open the Media Injection widget.
  • Grant browser access to your webcam.
  • Select your webcam in the Camera list.
  • Assign it to the front or back camera.

If you meant OBS Virtual Camera, it only works under certain circumstances and not on Windows.
