Yes, it is possible to install and play games with our Genymotion products. There are some considerations and limitations to be taken into account. The article guides you to get the best result with minimal hassle.
Google Play Store and services are not preinstalled
You need to install the Open Gapps package to get Google Play Store.
We have made our best to make the installation as simple as possible: you will find all the detailed step at How to install Google Play Store (and other Google Apps) in Genymotion?
Most games are only available for Android ARM64
This means that the result will differ depending on the Genymotion product and the system used.
Genymotion Desktop
Many games will not install or run with a PC or Mac Intel because they are not available for Android x86/x86_64.
We strongly recommend using an Apple Mac M series computer if you plan to play games with Genymotion Desktop.
For more information and a compatibility list, refer to How to play games with Genymotion Desktop?
Genymotion SaaS
We offer ARM64 images for Genymotion SaaS.
These images can run games for arm/arm64 almost out of the box.

Genymotion Device Image

These images can run games for arm/arm64.
For more details, please refer to Genymotion Device image user guide.
Genymotion Device Image does not support hardware GPU acceleration yet.
You may experience poor performance and input lag.
Many games detect root
Games, especially co-operative and multi-player games, detect root.
We recommend using a non-rooted Android image, such as Android 14.
