Legacy version bug
There is a bug in legacy versions of Genymotion Desktop that prevents Genymotion from creating new devices on fresh installs.
The bug does not occur when upgrading from a previous version.
Upgrade to latest version
To fix this bug, upgrade to the latest stable version of Genymotion Desktop.
The upgrade can be downloaded from https://www.genymotion.com/download/.
Free space issue
The computer's hard disk has insufficient free space.
Check the free remaining space on your hard disk.
Template image download issue
Genymotion Desktop cannot download the template image.
There may be something preventing Genymotion Desktop from downloading the template OVA from Genymotion servers.
Ensure that the firewall, antivirus, or network allows the following connections.
- Outgoing TCP port 80 and 443 on *.genymotion.com
- Outgoing TCP port 80 and 443 on *.geny.io
- Allow genymotion.exe and player.exe to communicate with vboxmanage.exe
Other steps
If none of the above applies to you, you may need to completely remove and reinstall Genymotion Desktop.
