How to play games with Genymotion Desktop?

It is possible to install and play Android games with Genymotion Desktop, but there are several caveats to consider.

Google Play Store is not preinstalled

The Google Play Store is not preinstalled.
The Open Gapps package is needed to get Google Play Store.

Most games are only available for Android arm64

If Genymotion Desktop runs on a PC or a Mac Intel, the following problems may occur:
If installation occurs from Google Play Store, errors such as "This app won't work for your device", "Your device isn't compatible with this version", or "Not available for device" may appear.
If installation occurs from an APK file, an error may occur.
The reason is that Genymotion Desktop on PC/Mac Intel uses Android x86/x86_64, while most games are only compiled for Android arm64 (arm64-v8a).
The recommended option is to use Genymotion Desktop on an Apple Mac M series computer — see the Compatibility List below for details.
