The recommended VirtualBox version is 7.2.6.

For Windows 11, the recommended VirtualBox version is included with the Genymotion Desktop installer for Windows. You can also download the recommended VirtualBox version separately from virtualbox.org.

> Important: VirtualBox hypervisor is not available for Mac M series.

macOS and Linux

QEMU on macOS and Linux is more compatible and provides better performance than VirtualBox. QEMU on macOS and Linux is now the default hypervisor. If VirtualBox has been used on Linux or macOS previously, switching to QEMU hypervisor is strongly recommended if possible.
