Which Linux distributions are officially supported?
For technical and resources reasons, Genymotion Desktop support cannot test nor guarantee Genymotion Desktop operations on each and every existing Linux distribution.
If a Linux distribution does not match one of the recommended distributions, important libraries may be missing. A distribution may use display drivers or a desktop environment that are not compatible. Genymotion Desktop may not tun as intended, or even at all.
For this reason, technical assistance and fixes are only provided for the following Linux distributions:
- Ubuntu LTS
- Debian Stable
- Fedora Workstation
