How do I connect a camera to Genymotion via USB?

You can connect a USB camera through VirtualBox on Genymotion Desktop, but it is only available with the VirtualBox hypervisor and not on Apple Mac M series computers. Select the camera in VirtualBox while the virtual device is running, and it will be passed through if the webcam supports UVC.

To do it: 1. Start VirtualBox. 2. Start your Genymotion virtual device. 3. In the VirtualBox window, click Show. 4. Go to Devices > USB and select your camera.
