I’m having trouble with the emulator not showing Google Play. What should I do?
Google Play Store is not pre-installed, so you need to install Open GApps first. If it still doesn’t appear, the app may be unavailable for your device’s architecture or Play Store may be detecting the emulator.
- In Genymotion Desktop, click Open GApps in the right toolbar, accept, then reboot the device.
- Google Play Store should then appear in the app drawer. See I can’t find Google Play Store. Where is it? and Install Applications.
- If an app still does not show up in Play Store, try an unrooted Android image or use Genymotion Desktop on Mac M or a Genymotion SaaS cloud device if the app is arm64-only. See I can't install an application/game in Genymotion Desktop.
- If Google Play still seems blocked by emulator detection, try Aurora Store instead of Google Play Store. See How to install and setup Aurora Store on Genymotion?
Are you using Genymotion Desktop on Windows, macOS, or a cloud device?
