I’m having trouble with the emulator not showing Google Play. What should I do?

Google Play may hide apps on Genymotion because it detects an emulator. Try Aurora Store first, and if the app needs Google Play Services, install Google Play Store alongside it.

Steps to try:

  • Use an unrooted Android image.
  • If you are on PC or Mac Intel, the app may be arm64-only. In that case, use Genymotion Desktop on Mac M or a Genymotion SaaS cloud device.
  • If the app still does not appear, use Aurora Store instead of Google Play Store.
