Is Genymotion good for gaming?

Yes, but only for some Android games and with clear limits. Genymotion is a professional tool for app development and testing, not a gaming platform, and it does not include gaming features like macros or keyboard mapping. For many games, local devices on PC/Mac Intel fail to install, while Mac M series or Cloud devices work better; see the compatibility list in How to play games with Genymotion? and the gamepad info in Gamepad.

Most popular games also need arm64, so on PC/Mac Intel they often refuse to install even from APKs or Aurora Store. For gaming, the best results are on Apple Mac M or Genymotion SaaS cloud devices.
