Your hardware does not meet Genymotion requirements
Make sure that your hardware meets Genymotion Desktop requirements.
Your virtual device does not have enough resources
Recent versions of Android can be demanding on hardware resources. If the virtual device profile does not have enough resources to run Android comfortably, very poor performances and crashes can happen. To avoid those issues, follow these recommendations:

Windows specific issues
The following issues are specific to Windows. Linux and macOS should not be affected.
Hyper-V is enabled
Hyper-V needs to be disabled when using Genymotion Desktop with VirtualBox hypervisor. For detailed instructions, refer to Genymotion Desktop and Hyper-V.
Your computer has an Intel integrated GPU
Genymotion Desktop uses advanced OpenGL extensions to render the device display. Intel drivers for Windows have limited OpenGL support. Limited OpenGL support often results in bad performances and stability issues with Intel UHD and HD iGPUs on Windows.
If you are using a PC with this family of GPU, use Linux instead of Windows. Linux mesa drivers work very well with Genymotion with almost any Intel iGPU.

Laptops issues
Power management
Plug the power cord in. Set your power settings to Performance, High or Game mode when using Genymotion Desktop. Genymotion Desktop uses virtualization and intensive OpenGL. Running Genymotion Desktop while on battery is not recommended.
Dual GPUs
Some PC laptops have a discrete high-profile GPU (NVidia/AMD) combined with an integrated low-profile GPU (AMD/Intel). In this case, force Windows to use the high-performance discrete GPU by default. Use the high-performance discrete GPU instead of the Intel low-performance iGPU when running Genymotion.

MacOS Sequoia 15.2 on Apple Mac M4
If you used the previous workaround to get Genymotion Desktop to work with macOS Sequoia 15.2, remove it.
Remove the previous workaround by running export GM_OEMU_START_ARGS="-cpu-coretext-a57&-=M-virt,highmem=off" from your ~/.zprofile and/or ~/.zshrc file.
