How to set alarms, schedules and auto-shuthdowns to avoid extra charges with Genymotion Device image (PaaS)?

This article is intended for Genymotion users using the Genymotion Device image (PaaS).

Forgetting to shutdown an instance is a common cause of extra charges. This situation can be avoided by settings alarms, reminders or auto-shutdowns.

AWS

Amazon CloudWatch is AWS's monitoring service. Use the CloudWatch service to set alarms. For more information, refer to Amazon CloudWatch.

GCP

Compute Engine is Google's Infrastructure-as-a-Service offering. Stopping the instances on schedule is possible. Please refer to Save money by stopping and starting Compute Engine instances on schedule.

Alibaba

Azure

Azure provides an auto-shutdown feature. Use the auto-shutdown feature: in the Virtual Machine details, go to Operations > Auto-shutdown.
