How to share folders with Genymotion Desktop host machine?

Warning

The tweak will not work with Android 10 (API 29) and above.
The tweak can only be done with the VirtualBox hypervisor.
The tweak is not doable on Apple Mac M series.

Sharing method

To share files between the computer and the Genymotion Desktop virtual device, use VirtualBox's Shared Folders feature.

To do so: 1. Open VirtualBox. 2. Select a virtual device and click Settings. 3. Select Shared Folders and click Add Shared Folder (Ins). 4. Browse for the folder you wish to share with the virtual device. 5. Check the Auto-mount option and click OK. 6. Click OK. 7. Start Genymotion Desktop. 8. Start your virtual device. 9. Your folder is available at /mnt/shared, accessible by default in Android's File Manager.
