Issue overview
Most of the time, the crash is due to the open-source GPU driver "nouveau" for Nvidia video cards.
Genymotion Desktop requires advanced OpenGL extensions that are not properly handled by the nouveau driver.
The article recommends using NVIDIA proprietary drivers instead.
