Cause
Most of the time, this issue is caused by the open-source GPU driver “nouveau” for Nvidia video cards.
Genymotion Desktop requires advanced OpenGL extensions.
The “nouveau” driver does not properly handle these extensions.
Recommendation
Please use NVIDIA proprietary drivers instead.
Depending on the distribution, you can use one of the following guides:
