I get the error "Too many attempts, please try again later."
Cause of the error
- This error normally occurs after too many failed license registration attempts (wrong license key).
- Your IP has been temporarily blocked by Genymotion's firewall for 24 hours.
- The firewall block is a security measure to prevent brute force attacks.
Resolution and guidance
- Wait for at least 24 hours.
- Verify the license key and try again.
- If you still cannot register the license, do not keep trying.
- You will be banned again after 3 failed attempts.
- Instead, verify your license key because there is probably a typo (wrong number, spaces, ...) in the entered key.
- If the license key has been provided by a reseller, contact the reseller to double check the key.
Additional notes
- If the license key was copied and pasted, it is also possible that some invisible characters, such as spaces, have been accidentally pasted.
