I keep getting "System UI is not responding" error
Android UI is the user interface displayed by the Android operating system. The error indicates that the Android UI is not responding. Genymotion Desktop host resources may be too low. The virtual device hardware configuration may be too low for the Android image.
Host machine resources
Hardware must meet Genymotion Desktop requirements. See What are Genymotion Desktop requirements?
- If you are using a laptop, plug the power cable in.
- Set power management to "Performance".
- You may also need to force Genymotion to use the high performance discrete GPU if you are using a PC laptop with a discrete GPU (Intel iGPU + NVIDIA/AMD).
- Try with lower Android versions.
- Android 9.0 and below require less resources from the host machine.
- Lower the device display resolution and density in the device settings.
- For example, 768dpi resolution and 320-XHDPI density.
Hyper-V (Windows + VirtualBox only)
Hyper-V may cause this problem when enabled. Hyper-V interferes with VirtualBox and it is recommended to disable it when using Genymotion Desktop. Please refer to Genymotion Desktop and Hyper-V for more details.
Virtual device hardware configuration
The device template you use must meet the minimum requirements for the Android version you use. If you use Android 11 or higher, you need at least a virtual device with 4 virtual processors. If you use Android 11 or higher, you need at least 4 GB of memory. For more information, refer to Genymotion Desktop documentation.
