This error means that Android UI is unresponsive. This error may happen when Genymotion Desktop host resources are too low. This error may also happen when the virtual device hardware configuration is too low for the Android image.
Host machine resources
Make sure that your hardware meets Genymotion Desktop requirements. Then, to get better performances, try the following.
- If you are using a Laptop, plug the power cable in. Set power management to "Performance".
- You may also need to force Genymotion to use the high performance discrete GPU. This scenario applies if you are using a PC laptop with a discrete GPU. This scenario also applies if your PC laptop has Intel iGPU + NVIDIA/AMD.
- Try with lower Android versions. Android 9.0 and below require less resources from the host machine.
- Lower the device display resolution and density in the device settings. For example, use 768dpi resolution and 320-XHDPI density.
Hyper-V (Windows + VirtualBox only)
This problem may also happen when Hyper-V is active. Hyper-V interferes with VirtualBox. Disabling Hyper-V is recommended when using Genymotion Desktop.
Please refer to How to disable Hyper-V in Windows? for more details.
Virtual device hardware configuration
Make sure that the device template you use meets the minimum requirements for the Android version you use.
For example, if you use Android > 11, you need at least a virtual device with 4 virtual processors and 4GB of memory size to be comfortable.
